This system combines the following three systems: locomotive video monitoring system, maintenance shunting car operation safe protection system and locomotive running comprehensive data analysis software. It can realize the integration of the platform of locomotive safety control.

   When the locomotive is running at the right line, this system will initiate the video monitoring function. It adopts technologies of 3G wireless transmission and audio and video digital processing. It monitors, records and transmits the conditions of the front of the locomotive, driver’s room, device’s room, road junction ahead, signal machine, turnouts, circuits, construction and front and rear paths. At the same time, it has the function of points alarming and controlling etc. It plays an important role in accident prevention and analysis as well as supervising operation.

    In order to avoid the accidents of rush advance and turnouts being crushed when the locomotive is shunting, this system can automatically activate shunting safety prevention function and the camera will be activated according to the running direction of the locomotive to get images of the road ahead. This system can automatically detect the running path of the locomotive, the related signal lights conditions and the distance to the locomotive. If the red or blue lights are found, the voice will alarm to warn people to confirm. If the system doesn’t receive the personal confirm, it will automatically make air exhausting to stop according to its judgment of the current speed and brake distance which is not enough. When it comes with crossing points, rainy or foggy days which can lead to the shortening of the detection distance or detection trouble, it will adopt the principle of “Fault Orientation Safety” and automatically warn the driver to slow down and watch and control its speed; make sure the locomotive doesn’t cross the signal light.
